Question: What’s a Smart Start?
Answer:

Smart Starts are the pre-conference sessions. These pre-conferences are focused on functional areas attendees work in as part of their ministry. In order for candid and constructive conversation, registration for the following Smart Starts is limited to those working in these areas in their parish or seminary:

  • Associate Clergy
  • Parish Administrators
  • Rectors and Deans
  • Stewardship Professionals
Question: What’s included in my registration?
Answer:

Your conference registration includes all educational content beginning with our keynote by Dr. Christena Cleveland on Thursday afternoon and concluding with our sending forth from the Rev. Dr. Sam Wells on Saturday morning. If not attending a Smart Start your breakfasts on Friday and Saturday are included, as are lunches on Thursday and Friday. We will have a chance to gather as a community for a reception (heavy hors d’oeuvres), included with registration, on Thursday evening in the undercroft of Trinity Church following our opening worship. Following our special evening with Matthew and Janet Broderick at 6pm, Friday night will be an open night to explore Boston with friends and colleagues - dinner will not be provided. There will be coffee and snack breaks throughout the conference. Those attending Smart Starts are invited to a hosted dinner with your Smart Start cohort at a local restaurant (specifics will be shared closer to the conference). Smart Start attendees will also be served a continental breakfast on Thursday morning.

Question: What’s not included in registration?
Answer:

Your travel and hotel expenses are not included in your registration. Please use this website to book at the Westin Copley Place using the discounted CEEP conference rate. Most of our rooms at the Westin feature river views with vistas over the Charles, Harvard University and Cambridge. This year, we have also partnered with several airlines to offer discounts on travel to the conference - find more information on the travel tab to the left.

Question: What’s Lunch Plus? Is it included in my registration?
Answer:

Our Lunch Plus offerings are lunches offered by our ministry partners and sponsors on Thursday and Friday at lunch time. The hosts for the Lunch Plus sessions will share on a topic where they are subject matter experts. You are welcome to choose a topic that is interesting for you as you register for the conference through this website. The Lunch Plus offerings are included with your registration.

Question: What’s CEEP Commons?
Answer:

CEEP Commons is our exhibit hall on the second and third floors of the Westin Copley Place, our conference hotel, where you will find exhibits of sponsors and vendors. There will be many opportunities throughout the conference to visit with these best-in-class solution providers and ministry partners throughout the conference. Make sure to grab your exhibit hall map and get it stamped to be entered into the raffle.

Question: Once I purchase my Conference registration can I change the name listed on the registration?
Answer:

Absolutely! If you need to change the name listed on a registration, please contact CEEP@bishopmccann.com with the name of the current registration and the new name you would like the registration to be placed under. If further changes need to be made to that registration please include that in your email.

Question: May I change my workshop choices after they have been made?
Answer:

Question: How do I qualify for the group discount?
Answer:

We are excited to welcome parish teams and other groups that plan to attend the What’s New, What’s Now, What’s Next CEEP 2019 Conference. Your group will qualify for a discount with five (5) or more registrations. Please note, you must register all five (5) conference attendees at the same time to receive this discount. The discount is available as long as registration is open.
