Question: Why should I attend?
Answer:

The Executive Leadership and Fleet Exposition Conference is the only Florida Sheriffs Association’s conference that offers training for every team member working in the sheriff’s office.  The multi-track conference offers sessions for:  sheriffs, command staff, finance and human resource personnel, jail administrators, fleet managers, information technology personnel, purchasing agents, executive assistants, as well as, training for teen driver challenge instructors. FSA is seeking for continuing education credits to be approved by FDLE, the Florida Bar and FL DPBR. Along with educational sessions, attendees of the conference will be able to network with others in similar positions from other agencies across the State of Florida, which is valuable for information sharing. The exhibit hall and outdoor vehicle displays introduce attendees to new and innovative technology, and a large array of products and services designed specifically for law enforcement.  The outdoor vehicle display showcases the latest police rated vehicles, heavy equipment, and fire rescue and emergency service vehicles.

For the company interested in exhibiting, the ELC is a great arena to display your products and services. The attendees of this conference are those that work in the Sheriff’s Office. These include:  sheriffs, command staff, executive assistants, finance, fleet, human resource and information technology personnel, jail administrators, and teen driver challenge instructors.  These individuals are looking to learn about the products and services that can potentially improve their jobs and facilities.

Question: How do I register and what type of payment is accepted for registration?
Answer:

Registration is online only. Click the register button below and follow the prompts to register. You will be able to pay via credit card, or select payment by check. If needed, attendee payment can be made onsite.  All vendor payments are due within two weeks of booth reservation.

Question: What is the recommended attire for the conference?
Answer:

Business casual and LE Uniforms are worn during the day at the ELC. Meeting rooms tend to be on the cool side, so bringing a sweater or jacket is recommended for the educational sessions. For evening receptions, business casual or resort casual is acceptable.

Question: How do I receive credit for attending the educational sessions?
Answer: Attendees will be able to scan their name badge upon entering each session. After the conference, attendees will be emailed a certificate with the total number of hours of sessions that were attended.
Question: Is there a cancellation fee?
Answer:

There is no cancellation fee for law enforcement registrants. However, we respectfully request cancellations be made by October 14, 2019.

For vendors, emailed cancellation notice must be received by October 7, 2019 to be refunded Exhibit fee less a $200 cancellation fee. Cancellations after this date will not receive a refund. Please email conferences@flsheriffs.org.

Question: What is the registration deadline?
Answer:

It is requested that attendees register by October 14, 2019.

Registrations for all booth staff must be completed by October 7, 2019.  Beyond what is included with each package, additional booth staff can be registered by the early bird deadline October 7, 2019 at $300/person. After the deadline, the fee is $350/person.
