Animal Tracking with Casey Anderson (AM)
Join expert tracker and wildlife filmmaker Casey Anderson in tracking local wildlife! Elk bugling, bear foraging, and raptor migration are a few of the behaviors you might document! You will learn the considerations and ethics when filming, and various approaches to consider while capturing behavior on film. Excursion: Wildlife Safari
Join our partner Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures for a 4-hour sunset tour of Grand Teton National Park with a knowledgeable and experienced guide. During the fall, they'll hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans. Excursion on the Snake River
Join Rendezvous River Sports on the Snake River for water sports fun! There will be an 8 person raft and several 2-person kayaks available for use. You will receive expert guidance and instruction on how to safely explore the beauty of Jackson Hole from a unique point of view - the middle of the Snake River! Look out for local wildlife that reside on the river such as bald eagles, beavers and moose.
Rendezvous River Sports will provide lifejackets and paddle suit and/or dry suits, but be sure to come wearing a warm base layer and proper footwear and maybe your water proof camera! Time Lapse cinematography has become a crucial part in much of the media we see today. Join film makers Dustin Kukuk and Noah Waldron as we explore the advancements, technology, and methods of modern time lapse cinematography.
Participants will have a hands on opportunity to use motion control systems, explore camera settings, discuss post production workflow, and potentially shoot their own time lapses.
We will have a few cameras and motion control systems available at the clinic, but if participants have their own cameras and tripods, they are encouraged to bring them.
