The 2019 Kansas 4-H Ambassador Training will be February 22-23 at the Rock Springs 4-H Center. The training is for for all county/district 4-H Ambassadors, ambassador advisors and Extension staff. However, the ambassador training is open to any 4-H member in the 8th – 12 grades. Local Extension offices may not be able to provide chaperones and/or transportation to this training. Check with your local Extension Office before registering.

The theme is: “4-H Ambassadors – Go Wild with Leadership.” Exciting workshops include: True Colors, Wild about Leadership, Elephant Communications, Navigating the Jungle of First Impressions, Day Camp Craziness and Advanced True Colors. There will be special workshops for all county/district advisors and Extension staff, including Making Quality Video Clips for 4-H. Cassie Wandersee will talk on “Planning for Effective Social Media.” A keynote speaker will address “Wild Over Leadership.” Cost is $115.00, and registration closes on February 10, 2019, 11:59 p.m. The fee covers all educational sessions, speakers, breakfast, lunch, breaks, and one night’s lodging at Rock Springs 4-H Center. Workshop numbers are capped, so don’t delay in registering.
