What to Expect? What to Bring?

Fun is planned throughout the Lending and Marketing Conference, so get ready to have a great time and consider bringing:

  • Comfortable shoes for downtown walking;
  • Business cards to share with your new contacts, especially if you plan on attending "Dinner with Strangers;"
  • Light jacket or sweater in case the rooms are too cool or temperatures vary;
  • Mobile device and charger to stay connected and access materials; and
  • Enthusiasm, questions and a thirst for new ideas and to meet new people.

What else to know?

  • Dress attire is business casual; showing your credit union pride with logo-wear is encouraged.
  • Breakfasts and lunches are included in registration. Have special dietary needs? Just let us know in advance by writing to educate@mcul.org.

Be in the know!

  • Every registrant will receive an invitation to join a closed Facebook group, exclusive to attendees -- it's a great way to start conversations before the event, stay connected while in Traverse City and keep exchanging ideas once you're back at the office.
  • Downtown Traverse City offers great destinations just steps outside the hotel's front door to enjoy dinner, night life and shopping with peers as time for added networking.
  • Choosing the "Dinner with Strangers" option is a great way to be paired up with another attendee to exchange ideas over dinner at a location of your choice (meal not included in registration).
  • Lots of other fun networking is planned, so be ready to meet, learn and be inspired! It is a great way to make new contacts and expand your professional pool of resources.
