Don is a consultant with CULendingAdvice. He started his career in the credit union industry working as a frontline lender and eventually became the founder of the CUSO, Members Auto Brokerage Service, Inc. He has established a vibrant sales culture and transformed a credit union's retail delivery to offering 100% of consumer loans and member service through remote channels.
Patty Corkery
Patty EVP/COO and general counsel for the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates. She previously served as an attorney with Holzman Corkery, PLLC, having become a partner in 2005. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and attended Wayne State University Law School. She has experience representing financial institutions, specializing in complex litigation and assisting clients in several areas, including contract and vendor disputes, bond claim disputes, contract negotiation, collection, recovery and employment.
Kristen L. Davidson, LDSS, SWP
Kristen is vice president of Organizational Development at Consumers Credit Union in Michigan. She not only focus’ on adult learning practices and delivering programs that align to business metrics, but creates award winning leadership programs, drives employee engagement, develops and manages succession planning and talent development strategies. She was the CUNA 2017 HR Professional of the Year and the BizLibrary 2018 Training Professional of the Year. She is president at the local SHRM chapter and served on the board since 2013. She also serves on the executive leadership board for Go Red for Women in Kalamazoo and is a committee member of Michigan Women Forward.

Eric has been with MSHDA’s Homeownership Division since January 2009 where he covers Southeast Michigan. Eric has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and has held positions in retail and wholesale sales and management. He has also held positions in Project Management in the mortgage area dealing with the analysis and implementation of new mortgage products.

Julia is director of client services at Duffey Petrosky. She is an accomplished marketing management professional who utilizes the dynamic combination of a bachelor's of arts in advertising and over 15 years experience in integrated marketing communications to manage and/or coordinate effective global and domestic marketing programs for a diverse, world class group of industry-leading companies. Julia skillfully employs a participant-based management style to lead high-performance account management teams to consistently deliver effective marketing programs that achieve or surpass client objectives.

Aaron Gregerson
Aaron is the vice president, chief digital officer at MarketMatch. He provides strategic vision, planning, content marketing and digital expertise for clients. He possesses experience and expertise in implementing innovative marketing, sales, team leadership, project management and business development practices within the financial industry and specializes in product and marketing campaign cycle management, including new financial product and service development, and developing measurable results metrics for analysis. He attended Winona State University.
Karim Habib
Karim is director of lending solutions with CUNA Mutual Group. In this role he is responsible for providing leadership and specialized knowledge of the Lender Development Program (LDP) and is responsible for a team of sales managers and lending protection managers who deliver lending expertise, coaching, sales training, financial industry insights and channel optimization to credit unions. Karim is also part of the National LDP team which is accountable for achieving critical success factors related to credit union strategic goals and objectives, growth and member penetration. Karim studied financial accounting at Langara College in Canada and attended Cardinal Stritch University in the United States where he studied business.

Brian Hamilton
Brian has 25 years of experience with financial institutions and fintech start-ups, where he has managed all facets of consumer lending operations. He has led key initiatives in the development of groundbreaking on-line applications, custom scorecards and loan origination systems. He joined CU Direct in 2017 as the vice president of innovation, where he leads research efforts on emerging trends and product innovation. Prior to his position with CU Direct, Brian was vice president of lending at UNIFY Financial and chief credit officer at BlueYield. He previously served as vice president of lending at SchoolsFirst, First Tech and the Golden 1 Credit Union. He holds a bachelor's degree in management from Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing a master's of business administration in digital innovation and information systems.

Eric is the director of social media and content marketing at MLive Media Group and Advance Midwest. He is a driven market leader focusing on how human beings can connect pragmatically using technologies available right now. He is an adjunct professor of mass media, CEO of a charity that helps at-risk kids experience the performing arts called Now Playing and is a nationally recognized podcast host. For Eric, "everything is marketing" is not just a catchphrase, but a lens through which he views the world around him. He attended Grand Valley State University.

Lynne is the chief marketing officer for Consumers Credit Union, a national 'Best Place To Work Organization' with a billion dollars in assets. Lynne excels in strategic goal planning, and member and customer success. She is recognized for her creation of the Wedding Cake philosophy to guide organizations to communication success. Lynne’s favorite hashtag is #SimplyBeKind which brings service to a new level in organizations and work environments. She has been named by Forbes on their top 50 list of social influencers.
Sam Kilmer
Sam specializes in bank strategic and delivery planning, as well as advisory for fintech, vendors and investors at Cornerstone Advisors. His prior experience includes strategy, analytics, digital delivery and marketing leadership at two midsize banks and two tech firms, most recently leading strategic planning, partnerships and content marketing at Harland Financial Solutions. Cited often in the industry press and a regular contributor to Cornerstone’s GonzoBanker and Insight Vault, Sam is a nationally known and sought after speaker and facilitator. He studied at Regents College London and is a graduate of Ball State University.
Aaron Kluck
Aaron directs CUBE TV Studios, a credit union-focused video production house at CU Solutions Group. He has extensive experience in production, post-production, live event streaming and social media video from both the agency and client sides. Aaron develops successful, value-driven marketing strategies built around high-quality marketing content. He has most recently been focusing on the unique challenges and possibilities of cause-based marketing and social financial education strategies.

His full-service creative agency specializes in 360º strategy-driven marketing solutions including direct marketing, targeted advertising, branding and identity, website development, social media conversation, SEO implementation, content creation, mobile marketing and media planning.
Jayni Sech
Jayni is if founder of Marketing Solutions Unlimited, Inc., a credit union marketing company she started in 2001 to offer creative solutions to marketing challenges in the credit union industry. Her vision was to build a company that would assist credit unions with their marketing needs, regardless of their asset size or budget. She previously served as vice president of business development and marketing at Kent Credit Union and as the Cleveland/Pittsburgh division director at Liberty Outsource Marketing. She earned her CUDE certification from the National Credit Union Foundation in 2003.
Sarah Stevenson
Sarah is the director of Regulatory Affairs for the Michigan Credit Union League. She is responsible for reviewing proposed regulations and assessing their impact on credit unions while advocating for change at the state and federal level. Sarah has 11 years of experience in the financial industry with the majority of time spent in the credit union compliance sector. She is a CUNA certified credit union compliance expert and certified Bank Secrecy Act compliance specialist. She received a bachelor's of fine arts from Adrian College and a master’s of science in business administration from Spring Arbor University.
Beth Troost
As the executive director of the Michigan Credit Union Foundation and the Financial Education manager for the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates, Beth works to provide programs, tools and resources that help credit unions thrive and improve people’s financial lives. She is a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC).
Jon Ungerland
Jon is the COO/founder of DaLand CUSO LLC. He believes the core philosophy underlying credit unions is the plausible and sustainable model for preserving healthy financial institutions and promoting financially dignified and strong communities in the 21st Century. As an avid technologist he has worked to immerse himself in the technologies that impact credit unions and their members. He is an Ivy League intellect devoted to developing methodical, data-driven solutions to address any situation and has cultivated a team that specializes in journeying with credit unions to actualize their technological, operational and strategic goals.
Christina Venturini
Christina is an account executive with Experian. She has a demonstrated history of working in the information services and financial services industry, and is skilled in sales, team building, management, refinance and leadership. She has strong finance and credit union background and possesses a CCUE designation in banking from CUNA Management School. She is a graduate of Michigan State University.
