Networking Events at the 2019 MWDPTC

The Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference is pleased to offer attendees the opportunity to participate in one of three optional networking events at the conference on Wednesday, November 6. Attendees can choose from the turkey shoot at Lost River Game Farm, horseback riding at The Stables at the French Lick Resort, or a golf tournament at the French Lick Resort's Donald Ross Course. Attendees can sign up for a networking event by selecting the registration options that include them. (Please find more information about registration options here.)

Turkey Shoot

Turkey Shoot at Lost River Game Farm

While enjoying the great Indiana outdoors, participants will compete for prizes by shooting shotguns at paper targets. Please note: no turkeys will be harmed during this event. The turkey shoot will be held at Lost River Game Farm in nearby Paoli, Ind.

Date: Wednesday, November 6, 2019

Location: Lost River Game Farm, 780 West Heise Road, Paoli, IN

Time: Safety presentation at Lost River Game Farm begins at 10 a.m., followed by the turkey shoot. Lunch will be provided around 12 p.m.

What’s Included: Safety presentation, lunch, shotgun to borrow, shotgun shells, custom MWDPTC turkey shoot targets, chance to win prizes, and FREE themed networking event T-shirt. Participants can bring their own shotgun if preferred.

Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding at The Stables - SOLD OUT

Conference attendees are invited to participate in a trail ride at The Stables at the French Lick Resort. Discover the beauty of nature as you travel rolling hills and vast timber-filled terrain on horseback and make new friends from the vantage point of a friendly French Lick steed. Look for deer, red tail hawks, turkeys and other wildlife native to Indiana on this 45-minute guided trail ride. The trail ride will be followed by lunch at The Mansion at Pete Dye, a historic venue that sits at one of the highest points in Indiana. The horseback riding networking event is currently at capacity. Please email midwest811conference@usa811.org for information about a wait list.

Time: Available time slots are 10 and 11 a.m. Trail ride is 45 minutes. Lunch will take place at 12:15 p.m.

What’s Included: Guided trail ride, private lunch at The Mansion at Pete Dye, and FREE themed networking event T-shirt.

Golf

Golf Tournament at The Donald Ross Course

The annual Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference golf tournament will take place at the French Lick Resort's Donald Ross Course and will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Enjoy this classic course that plays 7,000 yards, was designed by iconic architect Donald Ross and has been rated the No. 2 public course in Indiana 2008-2016 by Golf Week.

Time: Registration begins at 9 a.m. Shotgun start at 10 a.m.

What’s Included: Lunch buffet, cart and prizes.
