Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC) is hosting the 2019 Northeast Epidemiology Conference in Portland, Maine on November 14-15, with pre-conference meetings on Wednesday, November 13. This will be a dynamic opportunity for Northeast state and local public health staff and epidemiologists to share information on current disease control activities, disease trends, and disease prevention activities. All conference attendees will share plenary speaker, break-out space, exhibits and speaker sessions.
Maine CDC’s Annual Infectious Disease Conference will be integrated into the Northeast Epidemiology Conference with a clinical track on November 14th that will offer continuing education for healthcare providers.

Intended Audience
Traditionally the Northeast Epidemiology Conference is attended by Northeast state and local public health staff and epidemiologists while the Maine CDC’s Annual Infectious Disease Conference is attended by healthcare providers, medical office staff and others interested in public health. The blending of these two conferences allows registrants to attend the sessions that they are most interested in from each conference.
Continuing Education is only available to participants attending the Nov. 14, 2019 Annual Infectious Disease Conference clinical track.
