2019 Northwest Immunization Conference

The 2019 NW Immunization Conference will be a three-day event providing an opportunity to learn the latest information on immunization issues impacting health care practices. Dynamic speakers will cover a wide range of topics such as: best practices, emerging evidence, and communicating with hesitant patients. Continuing education credits will be provided at no additional cost.

Attendees will have the option to attend one, two, or all three days of the conference. The three-day package will be $350 (when registered by July 12, 2019, $400 thereafter) and includes daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Immunization Conference

The Immunize Oregon Coalition will host a multi-track course featuring national plenary speakers and multiple breakout sessions.  Presentations will introduce innovative strategies for improving immunization practice and addressing current challenges within the field.   A networking luncheon and a no-host wine evening reception will provide opportunity to engage others and to take your time with the many exhibits.

Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine - Preventable Disease (Pink Book) Course

Vaccine experts from the CDC will present a two-day comprehensive review of each vaccine, delve into vaccine recommendations and provide a detailed background of the diseases they prevent. The course will feature the most current immunization information. 

There is a $35.00 processing fee for cancellations received on or before July 12, 2019.  Refunds for cancellations made after July 12, 2019 will be provided a 50% refund on the cost of registration.  No refunds will be provided after August 12, 2019.  No refunds will be given for no-shows or early departures.     

Substitute registrations are allowed.

Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct statement:  The NWIC will bring together over 400 professionals of various disciplines from around the region.  The curriculum will focus on evidence-based immunization topics and sharing of best practices.  Agency badges or other ID will be requested upon conference check in.  We will encourage networking, discussion, and will provide specific agenda time for questions.   Interruptions, impoliteness, or disruptive behavior will result in forfeit of registration/hotel fees and dismissal from the event.
