Todd Weinman

Todd Weinman is the President and Founder of The Weinman Group, an executive search firm focused on Audit, Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Now in his 25th year focusing on this niche, Todd is a trusted advisor to companies in their search for outstanding talent, and to Audit and GRC professionals looking to accelerate their careers.

Todd is a previous winner of the California Association of Personnel Consultants (now CSP) “Consultant of the Year” award as the top recruiter in the State of California. He holds a bachelor’s degree from U.C. Berkeley and worked for several years for a Big 4 Public Accounting Firm. Todd is a frequent presenter for the IIA, ISACA, and MIS Training Institute, among other organizations. He has written articles and/or been interviewed for a variety of publications including: The Wall Street Journal, Computerworld, Cio.com, and The Huffington Post. Over the past two decades, Todd has been actively involved in ISACA leadership roles both at the International and Chapter level.

When he is not recruiting, Todd pursues his passion for music as a professional freelance musician. In addition to having spent four years performing with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santiago, Chile, Todd has performed music on four continents, and has performed with diverse ensembles, including the San Francisco Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Opera San Jose, the Aspen Summer Music Festival, and Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, in addition to having performed at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival.

Chris is currently the CSS for Attivo Networks, and is working on a number of projects within the deception and services space. Over the years, he's founded or worked with a number of companies specializing in DarkNet research, intelligence gathering, cryptography, deception technologies, and providers of security services and threat intelligence.

Since the late 90’s Chris has been deeply involved with security R&D, consulting, and advisory services in his quest to protect and defend businesses and individuals against cyber attack. Prior to that he jumped out of planes for a living, visiting all sorts of interesting countries and cultures while doing his best to avoid getting shot at too often. (Before that he managed to get various computers confiscated by a number of European entities.)

As one of the well-known hackers and researchers, Chris is routinely invited to speak at industry conferences. CNN, The Washington Post, WIRED, Business Insider, USA Today, Forbes, Newsweek, BBC News, Wall Street Journal, and numerous others have covered him in the media.

And worst case, to jog the memory, Chris was the researcher who gained global attention in 2015 for demonstrating the linkage between various aviation systems, both on the ground and while in the air that allowed the exploitation of attacks against flight control system.

Brett L. Scott’s professional career started in 1987. However he has been programming computers since 1977.  Brett quickly developed a passion for the growing computer industry. Brett’s passion was stimulated by cool tricks and programs available in Byte magazine, and a birthday that correlated to many important events in computing / nerd history.  Brett has served as a hardware tech, a bulletin board sysop, a Network Technician, Programmer, DBA, and System Architect.  Having the fortune to be born into an industry and having the advantage of growing up with computing technology, Brett has worn many hats, been there for many interesting events, and experienced some amazing things.​
