There is a maximum of 10 continuing education hours available for full conference participation.

All participants are required to complete the Overall Conference Survey.
There are 2 ways to complete the Overall Conference Survey:
1) on the mobile app by clicking the Evaluation icon;
2) complete the Overall Conference Survey you will receive via email following the conference. 

Physicians/Nurses Day 1:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) through the joint providership of the Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics and the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children. The Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics is accredited by the ISMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA category 1Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The health track includes the general session, health track workshop session(s) and health plenary session (D1).

REGISTERED NURSE CONTINUING EDUCATION PRE-APPROVED SPONSOR - Any conference that provides approved Continuing Medical Education (CME) as authorized by the Illinois Medical Practice Act is considered a ‘pre-approved’ RN CE sponsor. Nurses Day 2:
Nurses participating on Day 2, Nurse Continuing Education: University of Illinois at Chicago's Division of Specialized care for Children is an approved Sponsor for Nurse Continuing Education by Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations. Nurse CEs will be offered for participation in the health track sessions and the plenary session (H1) on day 2 for maximum of 4.5 CEs. The purpose of the health track activity on day 2 is to enable the learner to identify strategies to increase YSHCN health care, self-advocacy skills, and the quality of health care transition. It is also to review resources available in the community and describe ways to improve outcomes for YSHCN as they move into adulthood.

Educators / School Personnel:

EDUCATORS AND SCHOOL PERSONNEL MUST SIGN IN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CONFERENCE AND SIGN OUT AT THE END OF THE CONFERENCE. We will need you EIEN number.

Educators and School Personnel will earn 1 CPDU per contact hour for activities that will directly impact or contribute to improving student achievement. 

To receive CPDU credits you must sign in and out each day of the conference and complete the state evaluation form (77-21A) and turn in at the CE Table to get your Evidence of Completion form (77-218).


Social Workers/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors/Licensed Professional Counselors:  
We will need you LCSW license number.

LCSW, LCPC, LPC will earn 1 CE hour per one clock hour. The CE activities must contribute to the advancement, extension and enhancement of the professional skills and scientific knowledge of the license in the practice of social work or clinical social work. 

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists:  Counselors, Certified Rehabilitation Counselors, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors will earn 1 CE hour per one clock hour. The CE activities must contribute to the advancement, extension and enhancement of the professional skills and scientific knowledge of the license in the practice of social work or clinical social work.

Certificate of Attendance:  Participants interested in obtaining a Certificate of Attendance may pick up a certificate at the CE Table prior to exiting the conference.
