Note that new entry requirements to Canada are now in effect. Visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit though Canada need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include US citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.Click here to go to the Government of Canada's official website; find out whether you need an eTA and apply for an eTA there. It only costs $7 CAD and most eTA applications are approved within minutes of applying.
