The AASHTO National Transportation Management Conference provides developing departments of transportation Supervisors, Managers and Leaders the competencies and resources they need to effectively perform their very important roles.

In this four-day session, participants are introduced to the applications, tools and best practice techniques for successfully performing their functions and managing their most important resource… people! The Management-Leadership Operating System presented offers a refinement of existing skills, challenges current mindsets, introduces new concepts and explores changing employee and customer relationships.

This conference, developed under the guidance of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation (AASHTO) and the Transportation Education and Management (TEAM) Institute Steering Committee, are tailored specifically for the supervisor, manager and leadership staff of AASHTO member departments and affiliated organizations, including the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Participants will learn how to:
