We are pleased to present the 2020 North Carolina Government Finance Officers Association Spring Conference at the RTP Sheraton Imperial in Durham NC.  The NCGFOA Spring Conference will bring together over 300 finance professionals and provide extensive on-site networking opportunities, allowing you to connect with peers, conference sponsors, and other in the industry.

The conference program includes a wide variety of educational programs compiled with government finance and accounting professionals in mind.  You can listen to expert panels on public-private partnerships, maximizing human resources, and banking procurement services.  You will also hear from leading professionals on records retention practices, data visualization with Power BI, and governmental lease standards.  Updates concerning the current economic environment, LGC & GASB recent ativity, and the current legislative focus will leave you informed and up-to-date.  From a leadership development perspective, you will learn methods for resolving accountability problems and getting the most from your team and yourself.  Finally, you can meet your 2020 North Carolina Ethics requirement by attending an engaging session on regulatory ethics.

Refund Policy

To cancel your registration, contact events@nclm.org no later than February 21st to qualify for a refund.  We must give guarantees to the conference facility, and they will charge us even if you cancel; therefore, no refunds for meals and events can be made after February 21st.  Please review the hotel's cancellation policy with regard to your room reservation.


Complaint Resolution Policy 

The NCGFOA will make every effort to provide a valuable conference possible.  In the event you are not satisfied with the program and wish to file a complaint, please contact events@nclm.org within 10 business days of the event.

The conference will begin on Wednesday, March 4 at 1:00 and end Friday, March 6 by 1:00 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center, located at 4700 Emperor Blvd, Durham, NC 27703.  There will be recognition of new and renewing certified local government finance officers and a reception both Wednesday and Thursday evening for socializing.
