Additional Notes or Restrictions Based on Type of Certification: Certificate of Completion (COC)
No restrictions. Whether attending the live or recorded webinar, every participant who verifies completion is eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
Continuous Learning Points – (CLP)No restrictions. Whether attending the live or recorded webinar, every participant who verifies completion is eligible for CLP.
Continuing Professional Education - (CPE)If you are a CPA, you must attend the live version of the webinar and verify attendance by submitting the passwords. Recorded webinars are not eligible for CPE credit for CPAs.
If you are not a CPA and are seeking CPE credits, you may attend the live or recorded webinar and receive credit upon verification of completion.
Continuing Legal Education – (CLE) Group participation for CLE varies based on jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions require each attorney to log into the webinar individually, thus requiring each attorney to register separately.
Some jurisdictions allow groups to attend the live session as long as a monitor provides a sign-in sheet. States that allow group participation with one registration link include CA, VA, WA (to name a few). Upon completion of the live webinar, the monitor must submit a group sign-in sheet to verify participation of all individuals seeking CLE.
For the most up-to-date requirements, you should contact PCI or your MCLE Board to determine if group attendance for distance learning activities is permitted in your state.
With regards to recorded webinars, the attorney must log-in directly so we can track his/her attendance.
Please note that all of our courseware is “pre-approved” for CLE in California, Ohio, and Pennsylvania where PCI is an Approved Accredited Sponsor. PCI is an accredited sponsor, approved by the State Bar of Texas, Committee on MCLE. Most courses will be submitted to the Virginia CLE Board for approval and may receive CLE credit in Virginia. Attorneys barred in the following jurisdictions can earn CLE credits by way of reciprocity with these states: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, HI, IL, ME, MT, NJ, NY, ND, OR, WA, WV, WI. Attendees may be able to obtain CLE credit in the remaining jurisdictions by filing directly with the State Bar’s MCLE Board. Please contact PCI or check with your state bar for more information on states not listed if you are interested in receiving CLE credit in these jurisdictions.
Professional Development Units - (PDU)
PCI Courses may be recommended to the Project Management Institute for PDU credits. Courses may be approved for PDU credits at the discretion of PMI.
