22nd Annual Asthma and Allergy Update

Program Overview

The University of Rochester’s Institute for Innovative Education is pleased to announce the upcoming live educational activity, 22nd Annual Asthma and Allergy Update 2017. This day-long educational event has been designed to provide physicians, physician extenders, respiratory therapists, social workers, and nurses in the community with an update in the field of asthma and allergy. The interdisciplinary and inter-professional aspects of this CME activity makes it unique.
This year, sessions will focus on recent advances in the field of severe asthma, the exacerbation prone asthma phenotype, the role of eosinophils in asthma, the evaluation and management of an atopic child, and the role of Vitamin D in asthma. In addition, sessions will tackle topical issues such as the opioid epidemic, disparities in asthma, and burnout in health care. The 22nd Annual Asthma and Allergy Update will take place November 16, 2017 at the Rochester Institute of Technology Inn and Conference Center in Rochester, NY, and promises to be a very successful and well received educational event.
