Each February our Texas Crime Stoppers board members, student board members, administrators, law enforcement coordinators and volunteers gather for our Annual Campus Conference.
Our conference provides an educational experience, networking and training opportunities, and Crime Stoppers operational guidelines for law enforcement officers, students and volunteers involved in Crime Stoppers Organizations across the state. At our Annual Campus Conference there are over 25 seminars covering aspects of Crime Stoppers Organization management and the latest approach and techniques in crime fighting.
Our 22nd Annual Campus Conference will be hosted by Lamar County Crime Stoppers in Paris, TX.
Conference Fun Night:
Fun night will be at Skatezone in Paris, Texas. Roller skating, mini golf, batting cages, trampoline/bungee jump, climbing wall, movie room, game room and Arcades (arcades extra fee).
Two pizza slices and a beverage will be available for all Fun Night attendees. Additional food items may be purchased at the concession stand.
Students can look forward to a dance which will be held on Tuesday, February 7 after the awards dinner. Sponsors must be present at the dance.
Additional tickets may be purchased through the registration site. Additional tickets will be available through the registration process for extra guests planning to attend our Fun Night and/or Awards Ceremony & Banquet.
What to bring:
Pen & Writing tablet
A sweater or jacket is recommended, classrooms tend to be cooler
Sixteen hours of TCOLE credit and Crime Stoppers Organization certification credit will be offered to attendees who have completed all course requirements, attended all training sessions, and who have completed and submitted all course forms.
