You can request campus housing during the registration process.  The deadline to reserve housing is May 31, 2019.

Campus Housing

Single Room Option (Eastview Terrace): 
There is a single room housing option available on campus.  The rooms consist of one single bed with a private bath.  A small microwave & refrigerator is provided. The rate is $70.00/night.  You can reserve and pay for a room during the registration process.

Suite Option (Nittany Hall):
There are suites available that can accommodate 4 individuals.  Each suite consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.  Each room has two single beds.  A microwave & refrigerator is provided.  The per person rate is $38.75/per night.  You can reserve and pay for a room during the registration process.

Additional information:

The following will be provided:  towels, washcloth, bed linen, blanket, and a pillow.

Please bring your own soap, shampoo, hairdryers, etc.

Damages to a room will be the responsibility of the individual(s) assigned to that room, and will be billed at the replacement cost or cost of repair.

If room keys are not returned to the Redifer Commons Desk upon checkout, the individual assigned to that room/key will be charged the current rate of replacement fee for a core change.


FAQ's

Is there a telephone or television in the room?
There are no telephones or televisions in the rooms or lounges. 

What furniture is included in each room?
All rooms contain one extra-long twin bed, desk, dresser, and microwave/refrigerator/freezer unit.  

Is Wifi Service Available?

Yes! Penn State is pleased to offer wifi service to guests. Use the AT&T connection (you will need to agree to the terms first).

Will it be possible to exercise/swim?
The gym facilities on campus are restricted for student and faculty use only. 

Can I use a library?
Yes! Both the Pattee and Paterno Library is open to the public. There are computers in the library that are available for use to the general public. 

What other eateries are there on campus?
Several options on campus are open:
HUB Dining, Monday - Friday lunch
Au Bon Pain, Monday - Friday lunch
South Food District, buffet 

Am I permitted to drink alcohol on campus?
Alcohol is prohibited in University housing, regardless of your age. You are prohibited from bringing any alcoholic beverages with you into any of the residence halls.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Reservations are not intended for resale or transfer without proper notification to Conferences and Short Courses.

Prepayment in full is required on all reservations in order to reserve accommodations.

Reservations cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.

Reservations cancelled within 13 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of full deposit. 

Room types are treated as requests and cannot be guaranteed.
