24th Annual Rebellious Lawyering Conference

Welcome to RebLaw 2018!

Panels and Workshop topics this year include: 

From Ferguson to Palestine: Lawyering for Liberation; The Morality of Pretrial Detention in the Era of Bail Reform; Trauma Stewardship for Rebellious Lawyering; Intersectionality and the Law: Centering Black Women, Femmes, and Girl; Barriers to the Legal Profession for People with Past Criminal Convictions; Labor Organizing in the Age of Trump; Progress to Where? An Ambitious Platform for the Left and the Future of America; Disability Justice in Legal Advocacy for/Beyond Civil and Human Rights; and many more!

Check-in at the conference starts Friday, 2/16 at 1pm and the conference ends Saturday, 2/17 at 6:30pm (with a social event that night).

The registration fee is $35.00 and includes a vegetarian lunch on Saturday. The fee is waived for Connecticut university students (with a verifiable university email address), New Haven residents, and conference speakers and organizers. New Haven residents without a verifiable university email address will be able to register for free in person at the conference. 


For YLS students a registration fee waiver is available for RebLaw 2018 attendees with need, or who are organizing or volunteering at the conference. YLS students seeking a waiver should select "YLS Student Seeking Waiver" when registering and will be prompted to provide additional information. All other YLS students should select "YLS Student."

Please note RebLaw will not be able to provide luggage storage at the conference.

T-shirts for Reblaw 2018 are available for purchase as part of the registration process.
