Optional - Livingston Ambulatory Center (LAC) Dental Clinic Tour

About the LAC:
Residents at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry have the opportunity to care for patients in a world class facility. Opened in 2017, the dental clinic at Nationwide’s Livingston Avenue Campus reflects a tremendous investment in and commitment to the dental department and to equitable oral health care for all children in Ohio. The facility has 30 private treatment areas designed to optimize the patient experience. All new equipment includes a Cone Beam CT machine, in-room radiographic equipment, a dental laboratory area, and IT infrastructure to support one of longest-standing combined electronic medical-dental health records in the country. Last year the clinic completed over 36,000 patient visits in addition to over 6,000 patient visits at the four sedation and surgical sites for dental care in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital network.

The Livingston Ambulatory Center was built to be a model as an outpatient medical home. With this intent the building was designed to specifically include Primary Care, Dental, and Behavioral Health as the major services. Fortunately due to the size of the building we also have other clinics including Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition, Sports PT, Family AIDS Clinic and Education Services, Teen and Pregnant, Adolescent Medicine, and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Lastly we provide support services including Pharmacy, Lab, Medical Legal Partnership, WIC, and Financial Counseling.
