Summary

"Expanding the View: What is Diabetes?"
The American Diabetes Association Clinical Conference is developed specifically to provide current clinical information utilizing different teaching methods, including didactic general sessions and small-group, interactive learning opportunities. Sessions at the conference will take an in-depth look at "the egregious eleven", the different mechanisms that injure the beta cell and result in injury.

The multidisciplinary focus of the Annual Clinical Conference draws attendees from across the health care spectrum. It is designed specifically for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists, dietitians, certified diabetes educators and other health care professionals who care for patients with diabetes, at risk for diabetes, and who manage diabetes related complications.
