The 33rd International Symposium on Child Abuse offers more than 130 workshops and is one of the few conferences that addresses all aspects of child maltreatment, including but not limited to physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, exposure to violence, poly-victimization, exploitation, intervention, trafficking, and prevention.
The International Symposium on Child Abuse is a premiere conference that provides expert training and numerous networking opportunities to professionals in the child maltreatment field. Workshop tracks are designed specifically for Administration, Child Protective Services, Forensic Interviewing, Human Trafficking/Sexual Exploitation, Law Enforcement, Medical, Mental Health/Treatment, Prevention, Prosecution/Legal, Secondary Traumatic Stress, and Victim Advocacy.
Pre-conference sessions are on Monday, March 27, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with check-in/registration at 8:30 a.m., Von Braun Center, South Hall. Pre-conference Sessions require an additional registration fee.
Symposium check-in/registration opens Monday, March 27, 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 28, 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., Von Braun Center, South Hall.
The Opening Plenary Session begins on Tuesday, March 28, 8:30 a.m. Workshops sessions begin on Tuesday, March 28, 10:30 a.m. and conclude on Thursday, March 30, 4:30 p.m.
