Please consider applying for one of the 22 Hot Topic talks by submitting an abstract (below).  Everyone is eligible, from students to senior researchers.

You may also present your research in our Poster Sessions, complete with the 1-minute Poster Slam described below.

Hot Topic Talks

Hot Topic talks are 15 minutes long + 5 minutes for questions.  Please consider the broad range of backgrounds in the audience, and prepare your talk so that everyone learns something from it, not just the select experts in the audience.

How to Apply for a Hot Topic Talk

To apply, submit an abstract during the registration process on or before April 30, 2015, to Dr. David Osborn. If you would prefer to apply for a Hot TopicTalk before registering for the conference, you may complete the FRS33 Hot Topic Abstract Template and email it to Dr. Osborn by April 30, 2015 for consideration.

Applicants will be notified by May 15, 2015.

Poster Sessions

All conferees are encouraged to participate in the poster sessions on August 3, 4, and 5.  Back by popular demand, there will be a Poster Slam on each of these nights from 7 - 7:30 pm at the conclusion of dinner.  Each presenter for that night will have 60 seconds and 1 slide to summarize their poster, thereby attracting throngs of visitors during the poster session.

Due to space limitations, we may restrict posters to one per attendee.  If possible, submit your poster abstract during the registration process using the poster template below.

You may also register first, and submit your abstract later using the FRS33 Poster Abstract Template.  In that case, please send your abstract to dlosbor@sandia.gov by July 3, 2015.

Poster spaces are 4' x 4' (120 x 120 cm).
