In his eighteenth year as Conference Chair, Jonathan M. Tisch, and the executive planning committee have finalized another remarkable program agenda for the 2012 NYU Hospitality Conference. The NYU conference will again create a forum with dynamic discussion on fundamental and timely issues.
Special program highlights include our Monday, June 4 featured luncheon speaker, Chris Christie, Governor, State of New Jersey. On Tuesday, June 5, Conference Chair Jonathan M. Tisch will bring invaluable insights to conference attendees in his annual Beyond the Boardroom interview with Chuck Todd, Chief White House Correspondent, NBC News.
Rebecca Jarvis, Anchor, Business and Economics Correspondent, CBS News will moderate The Giants of Real Estate with special panelists, Stephen M. Ross, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Related Companies and Steven Roth, Chairman, Vornado Realty Trust.
Highly esteemed economists share their expertise with conference attendees in the Economists’ Update. Ron Insana, CNBC Contributor, Insana Information Partners will moderate this panel along with experts Steve Blitz, Director, Chief Economist, Homebuilders and Real Estate Analyst, ITG Investment Research and Jason DeSena Trennert, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Strategist, Strategas Research Partners.
Top industry executives will discuss leadership and strategy in the annual CEOs Check In interviews. Our CEO line-up includes Eric A. Danziger, President and Chief Executive Officer, Wyndham Hotel Group; Mark S. Hoplamazian, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hyatt Hotels Corporation; Gerald Lawless, Executive Chairman, Jumeirah Group; and Arne M. Sorenson, President and Chief Operating Officer, Marriott International, Inc. This panel will be moderated by Dr. Lalia Rach, Clinical Professor at the NYU-SCPS Tisch Center.
