    Drug safety communications/seizure medications: What impact do they have? (Satellite Symposium)

    RTI International, a non-profit research institute in Research Triangle Park, NC, is conducting a workshop to better understand the challenges of communicating scientific information and disseminating information about drug safety to physicians.

    ​What to expect, participants will:
    • share and discuss with colleagues how they acquire information on drug safety
    • discuss strategies for sharing drug safety information with patients
    • examine several FDA drug safety documents and provide input. 

    The workshop will begin immediately following the Panel Discussion on Tuesday, July 15 and will last 90 minutes. Pre-registered participants will receive a $200 honorarium and a boxed lunch.

    Advance Registration Required. Fee is $99.00. Pre-course work must be completed in order to participate in the onsite portion. Post-course work must be completed approximately 6 months after the course. Full credit will be issued after all 3 portions are complete. This session will begin immediately following the Panel Discussion and will last 1 - 1.5 hours. A boxed lunch will be provided to pre-registered attendees.
