This program is designed to provide education to APPs to ensure the latest research is translated into everyday practice. It will be presented in an inter-active setting, speakers will discuss patient care and management from a medical, surgical and radiation perspective. Topics will include Supportive Care Medicine, Breast Cancer, Radiation Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Melanoma, Stress and Personalized Medicine. A case will be presented for each disease specific topic.
1. Describe how personalized medical treatment applies to the treatment of cancer patients with a focus on Breast, Radiation Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, and Melanoma.
2. Identify the value and focus of supportive services in cancer patient care.
