Summary

Course Goals:

  1. To facilitate understanding of the etiology, differential diagnosis and management of sight threatening ocular inflammation
  2. To distinguish between types of eyelid trauma as well as various eyelid lumps and bumps 
  3. To recognize neuro-ophthalmic emergencies and discuss appropriate referral pathways
  4. To foster collaborative patient-centered eye care

The program is open to family physicians, emergency physicians, ophthalmologists, and other physicians interested in ophthalmic disease, optometrists, residents, students, and other eye care professionals.

Transportation & Parking

Lister Centre is about a 3-block walk from the “Health Sciences/Jubilee” LRT Station. Parking is the responsibility of the attendee.  Parking is available directly outside the front doors of Lister Centre (Lot M) and along the side of the building (Lot R). The Saturday parking rate is $5.50/day.
