Each evening, everyone gathers at a campfire to sing and share daily group accomplishments. The swimming hours are strictly regulated. No one is allowed in the water except at the stated times, and then, under the supervision of qualified waterfront personnel. We hope to send the boys and girls back home happier and better 4-H'ers because they have had the opportunity to attend this camp.

Registration

Parents/guardians can complete the online registration by selecting the Register button below. Space is limited; applicants in each county will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Staff

The staff will include 4-H volunteers, extension staff, a registered nurse, and qualified lifeguards. Teenage 4-H members who have received training will serve as camp counselors. Counselors are chosen for their leadership skills and their ability to work well with both their peers and younger children.

Requirements

Campers will need 4-H informal dress, with appropriate outerwear. They must bring their own blankets, pillows, bed linens, and towels. Registration requires that parents must agree and sign a risk awareness statement and a behavior statement in order that the campers can be registered and participate in camp activities.

Special Note: Milk consumption is encouraged. Our 4-H Camp serves milk daily to a camper regardless of race, color, sex, national origin or handicap. The cost of milk is lessened by participation in the Special Milk Program for Children, which is administered by Pennsylvania Department of Education.
