4-H Northwest PA Camp


Every summer day is an adventure at 4-H Camp!

For 4-H Youth Completing Grades 2 thru 9.

There will be two tracks at 4-H Camp, with age-appropriate activities for each, and at times the two tracks will be together for programs and meals.

  • Junior Camp - If you are a Pennsylvania 4-H member, age 7 to 11 years old, and will complete grades 2 thru 5 in 2017.
  • Intermediate Camp - If you are a Pennsylvania 4-H member, age 11 to 14 years old, and will complete grades 6 thru 9 in 2017.


Space is limited. Applicants in each county will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. After their registration is received, campers will be mailed details about arrival and departure, a map to camp, a medical form, and a list of items to bring to camp.


Campers will need 4-H informal dress, with appropriate outerwear. They must bring their own blankets, pillows, bed linens, and towels. Parents and campers will be required to sign a code of conduct.

Location & Facilities

All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp is located on the banks of the beautiful Allegheny River near Emlenton, Pennsylvania. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities in and around the base camp.

Campers will be housed in cabins or dormitory-style rooms furnished with bunk beds and mattresses. Each cabin accommodates six to eight campers and two counselors. Meals will be prepared by camp employees and served family style in the dining hall.


The staff will include 4-H volunteers, extension staff, a registered nurse, and qualified lifeguards. Teenage 4-H members who have received training will serve as camp counselors. Counselors are chosen for their leadership skills and their ability to work well with both their peers sand younger children.
