NCAPA Summer Conference is going virtual in 2020!

We at NCAPA love our Summer Conference. We value our Summer Conference family of attendees, exhibitors, and volunteers and have everyone's safety and health as an utmost concern. Due to suggested guidelines from the CDC and NC DHHS, as well as many travel restrictions our attendees are currently facing, we have decided to forego a live Summer Conference this year and move to a virtual only format. And though we won't be able to enjoy the beach and social activities our attendees have grown to love this year, we're excited to be able to offer you a different type of engagement, with the same outstanding CME in the comfort of your own living room - or even at the beach!

General sessions will be a combination of live, virtual sessions and recorded, on-demand sessions. The live sessions will be listed on the agenda (located on the sidebar of this page). The recorded, on-demand sessions will be available to watch anytime and are listed below:

  • Ophthalmology in Primary Care, Kenyon Railey, MD
  • Serotonin Syndrome, Joel Stoia, MS, PA-C

This activity is designated for 30 AAPA Category 1 CME credits for the general sessions and 9 AAPA Category 1 CME credits for additional workshops.  PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurses/Nurse Practitioners: Credits are accepted by the ANCC Certification Program and the AANP as Continuing Education (CE) credits for nurses and nurse practitioners.

Conference registrants will have full access to all sessions through Zoom during the Virtual Summer Conference and for a full year afterwards, through NCAPA's online CME platform.

Once you have completed your registration, you will be sent an email confirmation. If your name appears on the "Attendees" list (on the sidebar to the left), we have received your registration. Registrants will receive further information regarding the Summer Conference app and access to Zoom in August.

Even though our Virtual Summer Conference can be accessed  from the comfort of your own home – or anywhere else with reliable internet service – we know that some of our attendees may still want to enjoy the beach throughout the week. Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach will honor the NCAPA Summer Conference rate so that you can still have an opportunity to take a vacation while accessing CME. Click here for the 2020 room block.
