The 2019 WIiT conference, sixth in a series that began in 1978, will focus on women's issues related to all aspects of travel and transportation. The 2014 conference, under the theme Bridging the Gap, explored and addressed the gender differences in access to transportation and mobility, responsiveness of transport systems to needs and preferences of women, transportation safety, personal security, and participation of women in decision-making and wealth creation in the transportation sector. The 2019 conference will pick up similar themes, this time guided by an evaluative framework of three lenses: insights, inclusion and impact.

1 For conference presenters and/or employees of TRB Sponsors (including State DOTs) only. If you’re registering as a Sponsor, your organization must be a TRB Sponsor at the time you register. . 

2 For full-time students only. Valid student ID required onsite.

3 This option grants admission only to the dinner on Wednesday, September 11. It does not include access to the conference.

4 This option grants eight (8) people admission to the dinner only on Wednesday, September 11. It does not include access to the conference. The individual registering will receive one Marquis Dinner Event Only registration. Also, TRB will email that individual seven unique promo codes for distribution to the other seven attendees. Each promo code can be used one-time only on this website to obtain a Marquis Dinner Event Only registration at no charge. Promo codes must be used online no later than August 31, 2019, to pre-register for the dinner; they cannot be applied on site. Organizations that purchase the Marquee Dinner Benefactor package will be recognized on a PowerPoint slide at the dinner.

Refunds will be issued, less a $50 cancellation fee, for all cancellations received in writing by August 1, 2019. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
