77th Institute on Federal Taxation-New York
On Friday, December 22, 2017, President Trump signed into law H.R.1, commonly referred to as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). The TCJA is the largest overhaul of the tax code since the Tax Reform Act of 1986. It makes broad changes across personal, corporate, and estate taxes, and although many portions of the Act that apply to individuals and estates will sunset after 2025, many of TCJA?s changes will continue to be effective after 2025 unless changed by future legislation. The NYUSPS 77th Institute on Federal Taxation focuses on key tax provisions signed into law by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act with specific emphasis on what clients and tax practitioners should know going forward. Nationally recognized experts guide attendees through in-depth general sessions and panel discussions to identify the biggest opportunities and challenges presented by the TCJA.

The Institute on Federal Taxation (IFT) is designed for the practitioner who must frequently anticipate and handle federal tax matters. Presentations cover the most advanced tax issues, offering participants a clear understanding of the key issues affecting their client or business and presenting planning ideas that can immediately be used in practice. Just as important, the Institute provides the perfect setting in which to meet practitioners from around the country. It's an opportunity to share ideas, exchange views, learn what others are doing, and obtain credit for continuing education.
