7th Annual Cardiovascular Update

This is your opportunity to access innovative cardiovascular patient care that combines recent developments in cardiac health with practical tips for managing patients before, during, and after a cardiac event. Join the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing Center for Lifelong Learning for our 7th Annual Cardiovascular Update!

Our full-day program will teach you more about new 2017 cardiovascular medicine evidence, including updated guidelines, new treatments and the latest medications. Expert speakers will cover the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease, with particular focus on heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, management of hypertension, and stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation. In addition, new indications for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement and evidence-based strategies for helping improve patient outcomes after a cardiac event will be presented.
