Goran Dragolovic serves as the Senior Vice President of Practice Growth & Transformation at OptumCare. Prior to SCA’s acquisition by UHG/Optum, he served as SCA’s Senior Vice President since January 2011. Goran leads SCA’s national strategic efforts related to medical and surgical groups around surgical solutions and surgical delivery models. These efforts include payment innovation and alternative payment models, new alignment and partnership structures with health plans, the formation of value-based surgical networks, and the design of surgical bundles and gainsharing. 

Prior to joining SCA Goran served as EVP and Chief Operating Officer at Forest Health Services, as well as regional operational leadership roles at Symbion and AMSURG Corporations. Goran received his BS in Management Sciences and his MBA at Pepperdine University. He lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife of 30 years.

Meg is passionate about driving change by collaborating with physicians, technology leaders and solution innovators to improve health care. She has served in product development and business development leadership roles at the AMA and most recently is responsible for driving the roadmap of initiatives that support the AMA’s digital health and medicine strategy. In addition, she has led partnerships and innovation related initiatives, such as the inaugural AMA Healthier Nation Innovation Challenge, the establishment of the AMA Interaction Studio at MATTER and the beta AMA Physician Innovation Network that enables entrepreneurs and physicians to collaborate on the development of new solutions. 

Prior to AMA, Meg worked in the Consumer Product & Retail vertical at Capgemini and at SmithBucklin Corporation for various clients, primarily in health care. She has past experience creating a start-up company through support at Built in Chicago and 1871 in Chicago; her company received acknowledgement by Crain’s Chicago, Chicago Ideas Week and was listed as one of the 24 Coolest New Businesses in Chicago by Business Insider.

Zest Health



Shawn Ellis is the President of Zest Health. He supported the incubation of Zest Health in collaboration with the startup’s two financial backers, 7wire Ventures and Lightbank. Since joining Zest Health full time in 2013, he drove the company’s commercial and organizational growth; today, the company has hundreds of thousands of contracted members. He also led the company through its Series A financing.

Prior to Zest Health, Shawn focused on healthcare investments at 7wire Ventures. Shawn joined 7wire Ventures from the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on strategy and corporate development topics in BCG’s healthcare and financial services practice areas. He began his career working in Lazard Middle Market’s healthcare practice in Chicago.

Shawn holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the The Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Leadership Alliance and a board member of The Linden Foundation.
