This year's theme is:
Ayurveda:
Healing People
Healing Communities
Ayurveda brings a unique and holistic approach to attaining health and wellbeing. Those who practice Ayurveda understand there is tremendous value to viewing healing through the lenses of the doshas, the subtle doshas, and the gunas in the context of the seasons, time of life, and work-life environment. To attain swastha, what are the unique approaches Ayurveda offers? How does individual healing translate into effects on the larger community? What role does a healthy community play in individual healing? How can various communities collaborate to provide sustainable healing resources?
Join the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, its Board of Directors, Advisors, Members and friends for a weekend of exploration and deeper journey into the wisdom of Ayurveda. An excellent opportunity for us to come together in community to learn and celebrate!
Included for this conference:
Focus on Clinical Practice Presentations
3 continuing education Practicums for Practitioners and advanced students of Ayurveda (see details on the Practicum page)
Presentations on Ayurveda's integration with Yoga, Vastu, and Jyotish
Presenters well-known in the Ayurvedic community as well as some new voices with excellent information to share
Products, services, and information from Sponsors and Exhibitors throughout the conference
…and more!
We invite you to review the session descriptions, Presenters’ bios,
and in-depth information provided on each web page.
You will find all the details you need to register and plan for your conference attendance.
Meals:
- Full Conference registration includes five (5) meals [Thursday dinner, Saturday banquet, and Friday/Saturday/Sunday lunches; Breakfast is NOT included]
- Registrations for day passes will NOT include meals; however, meals may be purchased individually if desired; contact the Conference Management at NAMA Conference Management for details.

*Drawings for the $108 Conference Currency awards will be held on November 1 and on February 1. Registrations made by October 31, 2011 will be eligible for both drawings! NAMA reserves the right to make changes to the program if necessary.
Please plan to visit our official bookseller, Nataraj Books where they will once again provide a centralized venue for books, CDs, and DVDs. Publications by our Presenters and some of our exhibitors will be included among the spectacular variety and quantity of high quality products. Visit Nataraj Books for more details and to assure your books, CDs and DVDs are on his inventory list. You can call Vinod directly at (703) 455-4996, or e-mail him at Vinod at Nataraj.
Backcountry Productions will also be at the conference to record many of the sessions, helping to relieve the challenge of choosing which of our amazing presentations you want to attend. Previous year's recordings may still be obtained. Click here for ordering information. How do I order past recordings?
