Educational Sessions

Plenary Sessions and Workshops: Attendees can choose from more than 25 plenary sessions and workshops representing eight different sectors. These informative sessions will feature the industry’s top speakers and panelists discussing the current challenges and opportunities affecting the U.S.-African investment climate.

Tools for Success roundtables: The “tools for success” sessions will be small-group, facilitated roundtable discussions in which participants can actively participate in lively discussions with their peers and industry experts on the issues that are essential to successful investing across the continent.

Doing Business in Africa Forums: The two-hour “Doing Business in Africa” forums are organized and run by the host country and give attendees the opportunity to learn about business opportunities, governmental policies and private success stories from high-level government officials and representatives from the host country.

Flash Focus Presentations: Learn more about select CCA member companies and partners and their services/products through these special 15-minute presentations given during Networking Breaks and meals in the Summit EXPO hall.

Networking Opportunities

Summit EXPO: The EXPO offers participants the unique opportunity to directly interact with leading U.S. and African corporations and organizations wishing to further develop their investments, sales and purchases in Africa.

Business to Business Networking Center: TheB2B Networking Center provides all Summit participants with an online tool through which they can view their fellow attendee profiles and setup private meetings during the conference in order to forge new partnerships and grow their networks. The Networking Center is available online and at the B2B Networking Center counter with the Summit EXPO.

Special Events

Welcome Reception: The Summit will kick-off with a welcome reception at the world-renowned Art Institute of Chicago. Attendees will network with colleagues and make new connections while enjoying food, drinks, entertainment and a private gallery tour of the Institute’s African Art collection.

Network around the Windy City Sunset Cruise:
