An optional pre-conference session is offered from 8:30--11:30 AM on Wednesday, 4/24/13, at the very low $25 registration fee. "The ABC's of Guardianship" will provide you with simple "how to" information and steps to become the very best guardian that you can be. It is presented by Kelly Cross JD NMG. You must register separately for this session.
Main conference activities begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, 4/24/13. with the TGA Annual Meeting and two plenary sessions. Everyone is encouraged to attend the Welcome Reception on Wednesday from 5:30--7:30 PM. Conference activities continue with a breakfast buffet from 7:30-- 8:30 AM on Thursday, 4/25/13, followed by breakout sessions all day Thursday; lunch will also be provided. After a breakfast buffet on Friday, 4/26/13, the conference wraps up with two more plenary sessions.
NOTE: The Guardianship Certification Board is offering the Texas Certification Exam on Wednesday, 4/24/13, at the downtown University of Texas San Antonio campus. For more information or to register for this exam, please see the GCB website: www.txcourts.gov. TGA will provide transportation to and from the hotel to the exam.
