A Gift Beyond Measure: The Legal Basis for an Anatomical Gift
The question of how to ascribe “value” to the anatomical gift is one that has its roots in history, culture, philanthropy, medicine, and even economics. This webinar will explore these roots and how the laws surrounding donation and use of anatomical gifts attempt to reflect and codify both “values” and “value.” The program’s goal is to identify the core legal and ethical values that support our work in recovering and sharing anatomical gifts.
