CANCELLATION POLICY

Applies to ALL delegates

  • If you cancel prior to midnight on Sunday 21st July 2019 you will be refunded all but $60 administration costs
  • If you cancel on or after Monday 22nd July 2019 you will receive no refund
  • Please note that verbal and postal registrations will not be accepted.
  • When you register you will receive a confirmation email - it will be expected that you will attend the conference and pay the invoice, if you decide not to attend you must CANCEL your registration in good time or pay the full amount. If you do not receive a confirmation by return email or if you have difficulty registering ring Margaret on 0425 220 622 or email mers@exemail.com.au.
  • If your organisation is paying by eft/wire transfer and require an invoice, register online and tick the Direct deposit option on the screen then Finish, an invoice will pop up for you to either download or email to your organisation’s accounts payable department. PLEASE DO NOT expect your accounts section to register you, register first then pass invoice to them for payment or you will more than likely arrive in Brisbane unregistered.
  • CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATIONS - Your registration must be completed online by midnight Sunday 21st July 2019. If you miss the closing date on-site registration may be accepted, depending upon space availability, but must be accompanied by the total fee that is due.


Important Information

Privacy Statement
Your name and contact details will be used to notify you of future related events from MERS Events, ASSBI and the NR-SIG-WFNR. There will be a tick box when registering to agree (or not) to having your name and email address on this list.
 
Insurance
It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate medical, travel and personal insurance prior to the commencement of travel to cover any loss of fees, accommodation or airfares, should you be unable to participate in the conference for any reason

The information given by presenters at the conference does not represent the views of MERS Events nor the Conference Committee, and does not constitute therapeutic advice. We strongly advise conference presenters to take out their own professional indemnity insurance.In the event of industrial action, force majeure or other unforeseen disruption, the conference organisers do not take responsibility for any loss of monies incurred by conference delegates. We strongly advise conference delegates to arrange their own personal insurance.The conference will not be liable for any participant failing to take out their own insurance. Delegates and other invitees must observe the requests or directions of MERS staff, members of the conference committee and Royal on the Park Hotel staff at all times.
