Meeting the Social and Emotional Needs of International Students

This institute will focus on (1) identification of various personality types, (2) providing a foundation for mobile students and those who attend school with them, (3) managing specific types of behaviors, (4) recognizing signs of pathologies that require psychological and/or medical attention, and (5) effective strategies for dealing with parents, administrators and specialists.
Who will benefit: International elementary & secondary school teachers, counselors, and administrators
Optional: 2 credits from SUNY Buffalo State University
