Profile ImageBardsley III, B.S., L.F.D., C.T.B.S., James410-553-0525 x 107jsb3@anatomygifts.orgJames is the Director of Operations and CSO at the Anatomy Gifts Registry (AGR), a non-profit whole-body donation program, which is an AATB-Accredited Non-Transplant Anatomic Donation Organization (NADO), which also operates an in-house bioskills laboratory and an on-site crematory. Although he was born into non-transplant tissue banking and tried to avoid the family business for a number of years, James has been working with AGR since 2004 in positions from tissue recovery and distribution technician, bioskills lab manager, and client services manager, before moving up to upper management and eventual directorship. He graduated summa cum laude from Towson University with two Bachelor of Science degrees; a tri-disciplinary degree in microbiology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics, and another in cellular biology. James also obtained a degree in Mortuary Science and is a licensed Mortician in the state of Maryland. James has been a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) since 2010. James also obtained a crematory operator certification in 2014. His years of experience within AGR and his education in the sciences make him a valuable asset to AGR for managing its operations and handling complex researcher requests, such as tissues/dissections to meet requirements for biomechanical studies and device testing. Meanwhile, his mortuary education is useful for anatomical preservations, communicating with referrers and transporters, as well as mortuary law, as it often pertains to body donation and modes of final disposition. His motto: "You can never have enough coffee." James ran for a seat on the ABLE board not once, but twice, because he had a strong desire to assist the direction of ABLE towards its ultimate goal; becoming the premier, standard-setting organization for the bioskills industry. James currently chairs the membership committee.
Profile ImageBennett, Kelleykelley.bennett@t3labs.orgMEMBER - As Director of Clinical Partnerships and Training & Education at The Global Center for Medical Innovation T3 Labs, Kelley leads the educational innovation needs of early stage feasibility medical devices, Bioskills training, the community outreach program and forge ties between academia, med device industry and clinicians . She has 25 + years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, research, and Bioskills. Prior to joining T3 Labs, she spent 2 years at Georgia Bureau of Investigations, 9 years in the clinical setting as a surgical first assistant, and 11 years as an Operations manager for RTI Donor Services transplant services. She holds a BS in Human Services Management with a focus in Healthcare Management, a Diploma in Surgical Technology, and a Certificate in tissue banking. Kelley has been a member of ABLE since 2014 American Association of Tissue Banks since 1996, A board member of the Southeastern Medical Device Association Med Tech Women since 2016, and currently serves with the Medical Device Task force for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Over the past 7 years she has led and grown T3 Labs’ Training and Education Program, by incorporating and cobranding the translational services of T3 affiliates and the Georgia Biomedical Community.
Profile ImageBozarth, Robinrbozarth@meri.orgSECRETARY - Robin is the Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager for the Medical Education Research Institute (MERI). Robin has been with MERI since 2003. MERI is a nonprofit medical teaching and training school/bioskills lab in Memphis, Tennessee qualified under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The MERI conducts state-of-the-art, hands-on educational courses for physicians, nurses and other medical professionals from across the country and around the world through their willed body donor program, Genesis, Legacy of Life. At the MERI, medical professionals are introduced to the latest innovations in medicine, and have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the most up-to-date medical techniques and technologies. The MERI supports research in all specialties by providing the sponsor with the most effective bioskills lab environments for achieving maximal outcomes for their studies. Robin holds an Associates of Applied Science Degree and is a licensed Funeral Director in the State of Tennessee. She is a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) through the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) since 2012. Robin has served in the healthcare industry for over twenty-five years. She is a professional member of many societies and involved in many community based volunteer programs in her hometown of Memphis, TN. In her spare time, Robin enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her twin daughters, family and friends.
Profile ImageMcIff, Terencetmciff@kumc.eduMEMBER - Terence is Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he holds the Neff/Wiebe Endowed Chair for Orthopedic Biomechanics. He directs the KU Orthopedic Research and Education Center. He has his PhD in bioengineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow Scotland. His PhD research was performed at the AO Research Center in Davos, Switzerland where he also worked as head of the mechanical testing section. He received an MBA from Yale University. Terence conducts bioskills and research training for the KU orthopedic residency program. His center also provides bioskills training resources for various internal and external surgical groups. He teaches and works with students from a wide range of disciplines including Physical Therapy, Occupational Health, Medicine, Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering. His research is broadly focused with areas of work including infection, drug delivery, implant design and development, biomaterials, and spine biomechanics. Terence is a member of several professional societies including AAOS, ORS, ASME, and SFB where he serves on various committees. He is also a long-time reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Profile ImageOddo, Amyaoddo@platinumtraining.orgPRESIDENT - Amy served as the Executive Vice President of Platinum Training, a national medical education company with multiple bioskills facilities, since 2010. In this role she oversees the activities at all Platinum Training facilities as well as off-site event support. She is a co-founder of ABLE. She also serves on the Board of Parallel Innovations Labs in Henderson, Nevada, a non-profit support program for businesses focused on STEM related activities.
Profile ImageParbhakar, - Radhika graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering. She completed her M.B.A. at Grand Canyon University. Radhika holds the position of Manager, Clinical Education at Johnson & Johnson Institute. In this role she leads the coordination and execution of clinical education on Johnson & Johnson products and procedures. Radhika also performs assessments of external vendors to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Prior to her current role, Radhika worked with a Science Care where she was able to gain experience with specimen management and procurement. Radhika has 12 years of experience in the Bioskills industry including: specimen management, facility management, compliance, and medical device industry.

FORE publishes dozens of clinical and biomechanical studies and educates over 1500 medical professionals annually. Derek founded the Florida InnoVation and Education Labs “FIVE Labs” in 2014 as an extension of FORE’s educational mission. Since opening in January 2015, the FIVE Labs facility has become one of the busiest bioskills labs in the US. FIVE Labs is a 15,000 sq ft facility located less than 5 minutes from Tampa International Airport which is consistently ranked as one of the best airports in the world.

Excelen is a Minnesota Bio-skills/ Product Validation/ Cadaveric Biomechanical Testing Laboratory located adjacent to Hennepin HealthCare (formerly HCMC) in Minneapolis, MN. Excelen serves small and large med-tech companies, physicians and entrepreneur’s working in the med-device sector. Excelen focuses on Orthopaedic Research for its core mission and serves all medical specialties in its bio-skills research and training center as well as in its engineering testing/ computational analysis laboratory. Excelen has helped over thirty medical device companies with initial product development leading to formation of companies or products used in medical practice. Excelen has a forty-year history in Minneapolis and is recognized internationally for its research and training. Prior to Excelen, Linda managed and directed preclinical studies and staff at Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation, Acorn Cardiovascular, SCIMED, and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Linda earned an MBA in Business Administration in 2007 and a Certificate in Project Management in 2012. Linda has played an instrumental role in helping Excelen achieve and maintain its ISO 17025 Accreditation through A2LA. Linda actively works with local high schools to offer students an on-site exploration of careers in medicine, science and engineering.
