The purpose of the AWN is to foster a sense of community and build support spaces for female academics. We aim to provide opportunities for women from different disciplines and at different stages of their academic careers to exchange ideas, offer support to one another, and build a community across MacEwan University. Your new AWN Executive has an exciting roster of events planned for the 2016-17 academic year, including monthly get-togethers, sometimes structured around a presentation by a guest speaker and other times based on more informal discussions. Please mark your calendars - we look forward to seeing you.
NB: Academic men at MacEwan with an interest in supporting their female colleagues are always welcome to participate
