With an increasing number of federal funding opportunities to support college applied research, colleges and institutes are developing and growing their applied research and innovation activities. This year's symposium will provide an interactive working venue for participants to share exemplary practices for maximizing their participation in applied research funding programs and improving their effectiveness in securing and undertaking research and innovation projects.
Symposium Objectives:- To create a forum for networking and exchange of information
- To share effective strategies in capacity building areas ranging from human resources management, organizational and administrative capacity and managing collaborations
- To provide a forum for ongoing communication and dialogue on NSERC's College and Community Innovation Program and the Canada Foundation for Innovation's College-Industry Fund
- To explore new funding opportunities
