The business of dentistry is often where we face our biggest challenges. This course is designed to help the dental office team create a financial policy and a proactive accounts receivable system that will allow for improved productivity and effective communication between the patient and the practice.

 

SESSION 1:   CREATING A FINANCIAL POLICY THAT WORKS

SESSION 2: UNDERSTANDING PROPER BILLING TECHNIQUES

  • Understand your patients insurance benefits
  • Maximize your patients coverage for treatment
  • Understand how to submit insurance claims
  • Be able to post insurance and patient payments accurately

 

SESSION 3: CREATING A PROACTIVE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SYSTEM

  • Establish an accounts receivable protocol for optimum collection from your patients
  • Understand accounts receivable reporting
  • Create an accounts receivable protocol
  • Monitor the accounts receivable protocol
  • Measure the results for success

 

SESSION 4:  DEVELOPING CHECKS AND BALANCES THAT YOU MUST HAVE IN PLACE

  • Complete the financial picture from case presentation to the bank
  • Create effective systems to monitor your financials
  • Know what to look for to protect your practice
  • Learn which reports to review daily, weekly, monthly
  • Know how to hold staff accountable for success
