Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC): Preparing for Accreditation

The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) will be presenting two workshops February 20th and 21st. Whether you are already accredited by ACHC or just getting started, these two workshops will assist in your preparation.

If you are with another accrediting organization, we invite you to experience the ACHC difference by attending this lively, informative and fast paced workshop.

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain ACHC Standards for Home Health.
  2. Discuss Writing Policies & Procedures for compliance with Accreditation Standards.
  3. Discuss Preliminary Evidence Report preparation.
  4. Discuss the most common deficiencies found during on-site surveys and how to avoid them.

February 21st is "ACHC Accreditation Working for You" DMEPOS workshop. This DMEPOS workshop is designed to help you prepare for ACHC Accreditation, and is perfect if you are renewing or just getting started with your accreditation. This workshop will help your organization ensure compliance with CMS Quality and Supplier Standards as well as learn what to expect from a National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) site inspection.

ACHC’s Greg Stowell, Clinical Compliance Educator for DMEPOS, Sleep & Pharmacy, will guide you through the accreditation process and also show you that accreditation isn’t just a requirement. It can help you improve your company, save you valuable time and money and give you a competitive edge. Accreditation forces you to closely examine all facets of your business to recognize the areas where you are doing well and where you can become stronger.

Is your accreditor working for you? If you are with another accrediting organization, we invite you to experience the ACHC difference and discover all the ways ACHC is working to add value to your business and to your accreditation.
