Moderator:Paul Knapp: Paul serves as Vice President of Vomela Specialty Company and Managing Director of Saint Paul Properties. His duties include real estate management and investment, mergers and acquisitions, legal, and family business office organization and management.Paul previously served as Director of Operations for a 100 year old Minnesota family business office which he transitioned into a new management team and business focus. He acquired, managed, redeveloped, and disposed of office and industrial real estate projects located around the country. He also managed a venture capital fund for the family office, investing in emerging high tech and med tech companies. Panelists:Nina Hale: After receiving a B.A. in American Cultural Studies from Brown University, Nina Hale worked in media planning and early digital throughout the 1990’s, while receiving an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management. Combining her love of popular culture with her interests in measurement and immediate feedback, she was on the forefront of SEO and paid media as early as 2000.In 2005 Hale founded Nina Hale, Inc., growing the company from an independent consultancy to it’s current size of over 60 employees. Widely recognized as a leader in digital media, Hale transitioned the company to an ESOP in 2014. She remains heavily invested in maintaining a thriving company culture while keeping the business ahead of the digital trends. She is on the board of trustees at the Walker Art Center and is a frequent speaker locally and nationally on trends related to internet marketing and company culture.Kristen Rieser: Kristen was owner/operator of Hudson Baking Company located in Hudson, WI. Hudson was a producer and supplier of premium marshmallow crispy dessert bars, brownies, cookies and other baked goods. In July, 2015, Hudson was acquired by Arbor Investments and integrated into one of its platforms. Rise Baking Company is the newly named parent platform whose portfolio includes New French Bakery, Best Maid Cookie Company, Hudson Baking Company and South Coast Baking. Kristen continues to play a role in the expanding platform, utilizing her experience to work cross functionally to support deployment of continuous improvement within the organization including quality, operations, and sales.Jim Sheehan: Senior Vice President, PowerObjects, an HCL Company.Jim oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of PowerObjects, including sales, marketing, solution delivery and operations. Under his leadership and guidance, Jim has transitioned the company’s vision to a laser focus on doing everything it takes to become the leading Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM partner worldwide. Jim was Chief Operating Officer of PowerObjects prior to being acquired by HCL Technologies. Now as Senior Vice President, Jim oversees the global direction for Microsoft Dynamics at HCL. He is currently busy working on the expansion of the PowerObjects business model for HCL globally, including a global delivery center in India and a Dynamics practice in the UK. It’s a big goal, but Jim brings boundless energy to the task and requires little sleep.As a super-user of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM, Jim loves how PowerObjects is its own best case study. Jim participates on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner Advisory Council and is the voice behind the spokesperson for PowerObjects, JoeCRM.Jim holds a BA in Finance from University of St. Thomas. He resides in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he raised his three daughters, and is originally from Rochester, Minnesota. Jim is an avid outdoor sports enthusiast and has completed marathons, triathlons, road races and bike races.
