Minnesota Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth Presents Cyber Security: Exposure, Prevention and ResponseData breaches have significantly transformed the corporate landscape. Corporate officers are expected to drive an effective and comprehensive data breach response in order to overcome the technical, regulatory, and legal difficulties escalating from the breach. Reports of new cyber-attacks and the enormous costs associated with responding to those events continue to make daily headlines. Companies ranging from small "mom & pop" stores to Fortune 100 corporations must remain diligent against these types of attacks. Those companies must understand the best practices to prevent an intrusion into their systems, how to respond if an intrusion occurs, and what to do if the intrusion results in a data breach. This presentation will focus on all aspects of the life cycle of a data breach - beginning with how to better understand the exposure your company faces and then address how to prevent, respond to, and manage the costs associated with a cyber-security attack by focusing on real-life examples and the lessons learned from those attacks. If you are a c-level (CEO, CFO, COO) or senior executive we welcome you to join ACG Minnesota for our Corporate Round Table Series as we explore best practices for growth. The purpose of the sessions are to combine peer networking, panel discussion (education), and small executive group breakout roundtables. Each of the sessions is designed to introduce new ideas, discuss new approaches and benchmark other leading companies in various areas such as strategic planning, execution of strategies, financing, and critical business issues. There will be time at the end for questions from the audience.
