The second day offers a practice focused introduction to using the ACT Matrix including an opportunity to try it on personally and practice in applying it for clinical use.

Participants will become familiar with the ACT processes. They will be introduced to working with adolescents using the trans-diagnostic ACT approach that is suitable for either individual or group work.  They will develop an understanding of when and how a client can be drawn from one ACT process to another in order to reduce emotional avoidance and increase psychological flexibility.

Participants will understand the functioning of the ACT Matrix.  They will be able to use the Matrix to facilitate ACT work with clients.
