This event has been cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact the event planner directly.
In light of all that we face at this time, it saddens us to share that we have chosen to cancel ACUs annual conference. While we would prefer to carry on business as usual, we recognize that the greater calling in the months ahead may be to continue to care for the underserved where you are needed most, at home and in your community. While we remain hopeful and optimistic that public convenings will resume some normalcy in the months ahead, we also want to be thoughtful and diligent in our own commitment to ensuring safety and reducing further infection.
While we have made the difficult decision to forgo this year’s conference, we are pleased to share that ACU will be redoubling efforts to provide critical education content to support our vitally important network, in your continued work in the community. We look forward to launching webinar series, digital networking space and virtual symposium opportunities that will encompass tracks in clinical best practice, workforce, mental and behavioral health, policy and advocacy and more. Look for updates and more information on how to register coming very soon.
Again, while we are disappointed not to have an opportunity to bring our wonderful network of ACU members and advocates together this year, we are invigorated by the opportunity to provide virtual and digital opportunities for education, networking and sharing in the months ahead. If you have questions, thoughts, suggestions or ideas about what content would be most helpful and supportive to you and your work at this time, please email Amanda Pears Kelly at apearskelly@clinicians.org
It is our view that each of you represents the heart of our health care system. ACU is honored to serve and support you in your work. Thank you again for the tremendous work you are doing in this time of challenge – we remain committed to doing everything we can to support you and the vital care you are providing to the underserved.
Let us end by saying; thank you, to our incredible members and advocates, serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are humbled and grateful for the care and support you are providing to America’s underserved as we face this unprecedented challenge.
Sincerely,
Amanda Pears Kelly Felix L. Nunez, MD, MPH
