Day 1: Intro to fluid dynamics (4hr) and Area of origin exercises (4hr)

Day 2: BPA Methodology and Error Rates (4hr) and Report Writing (4hr)

Day 3: Complex Patterns – Lecture and Exercises (4hr)

 

Guy Nutter is the Technical Leader of Crime Scene and Bloodstain Pattern Analysis for the Michigan State Police Forensic Science Division.  He has been a bloodstain pattern analyst since 2002 and has taught several different bloodstain pattern training workshops along with other topics in crime scene and trace evidence. 

 

Jeremy Morris is the trace evidence examiner and bloodstain pattern analyst for the Johnson County (KS) Sheriff’s Office Criminalistics Laboratory.  Jeremy has been performing BPA since 2005 and has taught several BPA workshops locally, regionally, and nationally.  He is a former SWGSTAIN member and a current member of the BPA subcommittee in OSAC.

 

Class size: 9-16 students. This workshop will be cancelled if its minimum number of registrants is not met by March 16, 2018.  Registration will remain open after the cancellation date if the minimum is met.
